URL in a sentence

Punctuation when an address appears in prose.

A comma or period after a URL belongs to the sentence. Place it after the address with no space, and keep it at the end of the sentence. If a reader might copy that period into the address bar, recast the sentence so the URL falls in the middle, or set the URL on its own line. Reproduce the address exactly.
