purposely / purposefully
On purpose versus with a purpose.
Purposely means on purpose: He purposely left the key. Purposefully means with a purpose, or in a determined way: She walked purposefully to the desk. Do not swap them.
Examples
Use He purposely missed the call.
Use She spoke purposefully.
Avoid He purposefully missed the call. (If you mean only that it was on purpose.)
