bring / take
Motion toward the speaker versus motion away.
Bring moves something toward the place you treat as here: Bring the file to my desk. Take moves it away from here: Take the file to her office. The point of reference can shift: if you will be at the destination when the thing arrives, bring is standard even though you are not there now.
Examples
Use Bring those chairs in here.
Use Take those chairs to the hall.
Avoid Bring those chairs to the hall. (Write take unless you are in the hall or will be there when the chairs arrive.)
