bridal / bridle
Of a wedding versus a horse’s headgear, or restraint.
Bridal means of a bride or a wedding: bridal party. A bridle is the headgear that steers a horse. To bridle is also to check, or to show resentment: bridle at the slight. Do not write bridal path for the horse trail.
