bible / Bible: capitalization
When Bible takes a capital.
Write Bible in uppercase for the Jewish or Christian scriptures: the Bible, a Bible class. Write bible in lowercase for any go-to manual: that repair manual is the crew’s bible. Capitalize the names of the books and the two Testaments: Genesis, the New Testament. Write biblical in lowercase.

Avoid He opened the bible. (if you mean the scriptures)
