advice / advise
The noun versus the verb, and the preposition that follows the noun.
Advice is the noun. Advise is the verb. You advise someone; you give advice. After the noun, both advice to and advice for are standard: advice to new editors, advice for new editors. Use to when the advice is directed at a person as addressee; for is natural when the advice is intended to help a group or situation. Do not use advise as a noun or advice as a verb.
